The Brothers of Maceo Boston Jr. Lodge #145 are proud to have adopted a portion of Dobbin Rd in Columbia and serve the community with road cleanup throughout the year.
David H. White Scholarship
Each year we provide a scholarship to graduating high school seniors who have exhibited excellent academic performance, and are involved in community service. This scholarship is presented in honor of our late Past Master David H. White.
NAACP
Our lodge is proud to be a member of the NAACP in Howard County, an organization dedicated advancing civil rights and promoting social justice We believe in the importance of community involvement and work to foster equality and advocate for the rights of all individuals.
March for Babies
We are proud to participate in the March of Dimes initiative, dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies. Our involvement highlights our commitment to creating a brighter future for families in our community. Together, we can support vital research and programs that ensure every baby gets a healthy start in life. Join us in making a difference!
GRASSROOTS
In support of the Grassroots Day Resource Center and the Grassroots Crisis Intervention, the Brothers of Maceo Boston Jr. Lodge #145 collect canned goods, blankets, toiletries, and clothing items for the homeless of Howard County.
ANNUAL FAMILY & FRIENDS DAY BBQ
Every summer we thank our families and friends for their support of our various fundraisers and events throughout the year with a BBQ. We always enjoy plenty of food, games, music, and fun for all!
HOWARD COUNTY FOOD BANK
We assist the Howard County Food Bank with the distribution of food pantry items for the Thanksgiving Holiday and throughout the year.
Annual Fall Cabaret
There's NO Party Like an MBJ145 party! Be on the lookout for our annual Fall Cabaret and plan to join us for a night of food, great music, and dancing. Proceeds support the lodge's scholarship fund and charitable donations.
